ApexExam does not require user accounts for core functionality. We only collect:

  • Local Storage Data: Your practice progress, wrong answers, and state preferences are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
  • Optional Account Data: If you choose to create an account, we store your email address and hashed password for authentication purposes only.
  • Automatically Collected Data: Like all websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not have access to individual user-level analytics beyond aggregate page view counts.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the practice test service
  • To authenticate user accounts (if you create one)
  • To improve our content and user experience based on aggregate usage patterns

3. Cookies

ApexExam uses essential cookies only — for authentication sessions and language preferences. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Vercel: Our hosting platform. Vercel's privacy policy applies to server-level operations.
  • Google AdSense: If enabled, Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings.

5. Data Retention

Local practice data remains in your browser until you clear it or it expires (7-day inactivity for session data). Account data is retained until you delete your account.

6. Children's Privacy

ApexExam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
